Scaling up your Analytics & Insights - 11/12/2018
In October we have organized a first successful edition of this event. However, some of you couldn't make it that day due to completely gridlocked traffic in and around Gent. The people that did attend were very positive, so we are eager to organize a second event where we'll show the different paths to valuable insights & analytics.
These days it is extremely important to have a good data-driven strategy for your organization. McKinsey said as much in their comprehensive report The age of analytics: Competing in a data-driven world. At LoQutus we are firm believers of the added value of Analytics & Insights.
However, it is far from easy to implement a consistent data-driven strategy. An overwhelming number of solutions, tools, and platforms are out there, but which one is right for you?
To address this we will dig into both the Microsoft business intelligence stack, as well as open source technologies. Based on real-life customer cases and projects our experienced Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts will show you how to scale self-service analytics and insights.
Don't hesitate to join us at our offices on Tuesday the 11th of December. Welcome from 17.30, presentations start at 18.00.

Recently our experts wrote a blog about open-source data-driven applications, which you can read here.
You can find the full McKinsey report (136 pages) via the following link: The Age of Analytics. A year ago they also wrote an interesting article showing the benefits of a data-driven strategy: Fueling growth through data monetization.

Finding a good parking spot at our offices can be tricky! We strongly suggest to park on the big parking lot at Carrefour and Quick, and cross the intersection by foot to get to our offices (see map below).
